EUROMicroFest is a collaboration between Microtonal Projects and un-sound e.V. in Freiburg, Germany.
Dates: 24th-25th May, 2019, at the Elisabeth-Schneider-Stiftung and Museum für Stadtgeschichte, Wentzinger Haus.
The concerts will feature guitarist Michael Kudirka (USA), sponsored by the Carl-Schurz-Haus Freiburg; keyboard player, David Henkelman (Freiburg/ Canada); duo Contour (microtonal trumpets and malletKat) and ensemble l’imaginaire (Strasbourg)
Speakers: Matthias S. Krüger (Lörrach, DE) with guitarist, Stephan Schmidt (Basel); Composer, Christian Klinkenberg (BE); recorder player Kathryn Bennetts (co-author of The Quarter-Tone Recorder Manual) (GB) and, from the Finnish Microtonal Society, composer Juhani Topias Vesikkala.
